ABOUT

Little Minds Strong Values is a National Program to Inculcate Ethics & Values in Children Through Video Animated Songs.

Our goal is to build the foundation for a society of good mannered, civic minded, diverse society in Sri Lanka in the next generation.

We attempt this by creating the Next Generation of Children’s Songs with embedded values to stimulate young minds and adopt strong values as a way of life.

About the Founder

Rukshan Perera is an established composer, director, multi-instrumentalist and singer who has been using his musical prowess and his passion to support deserving communities and charities.

Seeing a distressing decline in values and ethical standards in Sri Lanka, Rukshan Perera conceptualized an Out Of the Box Project titled “Little Minds Strong Values” at the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan to bring values and ethics in to focus in early education for children through video animated songs and build the foundation for a society of good mannered, civic minded, decent people in Sri Lanka.

He composed, directed and produced a DVD with 30 Sinhala/Tamil songs and is leading a Rotary team with several partners to disseminate the songs to the children and to raise funds for the project.
